The Rockpointe eXchange

Introducing the Rockpointe eXchange, a place where we hope to match current needs with available resources. In the time-honored tradition of people within a community supporting each other with simple items and tasks, we have created the Rockpointe eXchange as an attempt to connect the unique and unused resources within our community to people who need them. Have a need? Click on the “need” link and enter the requested information. Have a resource to offer? Click on the “resource” link..

What it IS: a place for honest needs. If you truly cannot afford necessary work of some sort (dental, auto, home repair), post a need. If you truly need and cannot afford an appliance or piece of furniture, post a need. If you are just looking for a deal or a recommendation, this is not the place J. Try eBay, craigslist, or just asking around.

What it ISN’T: craigslist. Seriously, this is meant to hit people where their needs are the greatest, not just help you unload some stuff or get you a recommendation for a reliable repair service. Think that new or nearly-new whatever-you-have might help someone? Then post it. Prepared to offer a service for free that you normally charge for? Then post it.

And remember…needs and resources could be items or services (appliances, repair services, etc.). All donated items should be in new or gently used condition, services offered should be of professional quality and offered free of charge.

Take a few minutes to read through the postings, and let us know if your need or resource is in direct response to an already listed item.

Rockpointe Community Church will keep all personal information it receives private other than as necessary to facilitate an exchange. Once matched, “need” and “resource” parties will be put in touch with each other via their preferred method (email, phone, etc.). Rockpointe Community Church itself takes no responsibility for verifying or ensuring the quality of goods and services provided. The goal of the Rockpointe eXchange is simply to be a venue for meeting the needs of individuals within our community.
